Reason - Atari Berzerk ReDrum Kit!
This... turned out interesting!
I captured the audio from one of my favourite ancient Atari 2600 games, Berzerk (1982) from there turned it into a ReDrum refil!
Its up for grabs if anyone wants to play around with it, it's pretty fun..!
When you play with the pitch bending elements etc some of what comes up is very wow!
Maybe someone will make use of it,
Very chiptuneish !
I'm working on making a sample of it..
I'll upload it when somthing decent arises...
Let me know maybe if anyone uses it in anyway, would love to know the results...!
Engaged!!
What better time and place than on a DCHub server at a lan party?
At which point the official 'get down on one knee and place ring on finger' proceedure was formalized.
ADAY AND PSEUDONYM ARE ENGAGED!!! :))
We've been together for 3 years as of next month.
Noticably no one outside my friends who actually syndicates this blog will actually get any of this..
So it probbally wont make it to slashdot,
I'll blog about it anyway!
:)
Network Monitoring - With FreeNATS
Anyone looking for a way to do network monitoring these days will probably end up finding them selves testing more well known applications like Nagios and Zabbix
But sometimes all you really want is for a simple application to ping and check port conditions, but sometimes these other more well known apps tend to be a little too much for what you really need.
At the moment I'm following a fairly new project which is still in alpha testing, but soon to be a first stable release.
FreeNATS - Free Network Automatic Testing System - a free and Open Source NMS.
Gameon - WedNESday - Day of the NES!
For anyone thinking about going to the ACMI - Game On event on Federation Square at the moment - I suggest you check it out!!

aday - now in Web 2.0!
Given enough time and attention,
I guess anything is possible.
It’s taken me ages (almost 4 years?) to stop procrastinating, but finally I've started my own website which ISN'T a bunch of text written *.htm files or some outdated phpws code,
I've moved to Drupal! -- GOOD MOVE! - I'm VERY impressed with the way it works.
Might be a bit of a learning curve to start with but defiantly worth it!
dispersing drupal!
I've decided to wake up.
So for starters, I've done away with phpws and implemented drupal!
I also need a blog entry so I can point the menu structure at the page.
So,
here it is.
FIRST POST!!!
